We believe we are families, becoming family, reaching families. Family is more than biology. Our aim is to love each other genuinely, as a healthy family does. In the kingdom of God, we are called to be family for one another. That means showing up, making room, staying present, and living connected. The early church lived like this. They didn’t just gather once a week. They shared life.

“So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.”
Ephesians 2:19

We want to be a place where no one walks alone. Where families are strengthened and spiritual family is formed. Where house communities become the front porch of faith. Where stories are shared, tears are welcomed, and meals are sacred. We love family, both natural and spiritual, because God’s heart has always been to form His people, not just into a crowd, but into a home.

Jesus didn’t live detached from the world. He walked the streets. He healed, fed, blessed, and wept. He moved toward the mess, not away from it. He showed us that loving people means loving places too. Cities, neighborhoods, schools, and homes all matter to God. So they matter to us.

“But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.”
Jeremiah 29:7

To love the community is to be present. It means serving without strings. It means seeing your neighbors not as projects, but as people made in the image of God. It means being salt and light in the ordinary. That could look like stocking a teacher’s lounge, mentoring a teenager, or planting a garden in a neighborhood that needs beauty. The point is this—we are not called to escape the world. We are called to bless it.
